Email/phone notification icons? yes I've searched! :-)

Hello!

I had a BB Storm before recently getting my Droid.

The Droid is much better than the BB, except for the notification icons.

I haven't been able to find a widget or program that will give me a visual indicator icon on a new email messages (Exchange ActiveSync) or missed calls.

Does anyone know of a program that will do this?

I found Handcent for SMS, but can't find one for messages or phone calls.

I'm using GDE and have tried all of the other home replacements.

It just seems like the phone and message icons should change to show that you missed a call or message.

I have searched for days in the market. Did I just miss it?

It would be nice to have a dock that stays put at the bottom with these icons.

It shows in the notification bar on the top of the home screen. The white bar at the top.
I too would rather it show up on the icon itself coming from a Storm. You get used to it though.
