Email :Deleted Folder: Delete ALL

did a search and came up with nothing solid.

Is it possible to delete all or have a program go in and remove all old delted emails?


I have 907 UNREAD Emails in my deleted folder. Probably triple that amount of 'read' deleted emails.

I am thinking this is eating up some of my storage space and maybe contributing to my laggy phone.

Any help appreciated.

Are you talking about the stock Email app or the Gmail app? If the gmail app, I think you might have to login to gmail.com to do it.

Otherwise, you shouldn't even be using the stock email app. Use K9.

I switched to k9 mail and never looked back. Everything I didn't like about the built in mail program is fixed with k9 mail. Faster draws as well.
I had 80MB of mail in my deleted folder...

So if I delete stock e-mail app will Touchdown still work???

??? Can I just delete the stock app for my e-mail ?

I'm using a modified email app, which among other things, allows you to do a Select All.

Need to be rooted to replace the app of course. Just an option for you. Otherwise use a computer to clear your deleted items (or k9 or Touchdown).
