Are there any ham radio operators out there? I would like to know if I can download Echo Link to my Eris. I see I Phone users are using Echo Link.

as of now...in short, no. Echolink is in the process of spanning out onto other OS's but android is not yet included...find all of your ham friends with droids to email echolink and request it. But until then,

unrelated to your post,

My grandfather was into ham radio really heavy for many years. He passed away in 2002 and left me all of his equipment, I have it stored in my spare bedroom closet. I need to get my license and set it all up in my computer room. He always wanted me to get my license. Memorizing Morse code was never my strong point...

No need to learn it now, it is no longer a requirement for any level ham radio licensing
