ebuddy gmail chat on android question

i currently use ebuddy and i can tolerate the other ads, but what i can't stand is when i'm logged in on my phone and at the end of my status is always: "on my mobile with Ebuddy blahblah". it's really annoying, and it always screams to the world i'm on an android and i don't really want to brag about it since a lot of my friends aren't able to have one. also, it's a walking ad and i hate it.

is there any way to remove that?

if not, what are some other good FREE chat applications for android?
ones that:
-always display me as logged on, even if my phone is off, etc. (for some reason i like it like that...)
- doesn't kill my battery (ebuddy i admit is pretty good at not killing my battery)
and yeah, nice interface, all that stuff

does imo do that?

IM+ is good I used to use it on ios. I only use gtalk though, so I'm not familiar with another chat clients. What messenger are you using?

why don't you use any chat app's you can invite your friends yo use a new buddy chat. but i think there is a problem on your buddy chat setting, try to find on settings you can fix it.
