earpiece volume

even at the lowest volume setting in a call...the earpiece volume is obnoxiously loud.
my phone conversations are basically broadcast to those around me....
anyone else experiencing this ? it happens when talking to a verizon number....

apparently no one else has experienced this issue so it might be a newly discovered bug.....
i kept trying to toggle down on the in-call volume but decided to try toggling up and see .... i discovered that the in-call volume got stuck on high, even though the bar was at the lowest level.
so toggling volume up during a call brought it back to correct levels.

i would say this is a bug either with the phone or with android....

Possible it is an app you have installed messing with your volume controls? I have never had any issues going extremely low or super high.

the only apps i have installed that i can think of that might mess with the phone's volumes are spare parts or voice recorder.....

if i can get others to tune in to this thread maybe i can isolate which it is and tip the devs so they can update it....
