Ear Piece Distortion

I am having a vibrating/clattering/distortion sound in my ear piece of my droid x2 even when the volume is on low. Is anyone else having this problem or is my phone just defective?

Sounds (no pun intended) like a defect, crystal clear on mine, they'll exchange it at the verizon store.

My earpiece sounds crystal clear. I'd go get it switched out ASAP esp if you're still in your 14 day period.
