e-mail/java issue

This is not my phone it's my dads. He gets attachments he needs to read usually excel or word documents. When he downloads them and clicks open in documents to go he gets this issue

java.lang.arrayindexoutofboundsexception

I googled this and was not able to find a solution. Any suggestions?

Those file types are special documents...

Id reccommend downloading documents2go or office suite. They are made for them types of files it may fix ur problem
