duplicate when deleting messages? (new android app - outlook.com on motorola razr max

whenever i delete a message in my inbox either on my phone or computer with the newly released android app, it shops up in my deleted folder twice.

on the computer though it only shows up once.

weird.

any advice on how to fix this?

i uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times.
