I have been lurking here for a while. Finally decided to make the intro thread.

So yesterday, I rooted for the first time dancedroid and installed CM7 latest nightly build. Still trying to get some things configured, but overall it was mostly straightforward. I followed the sticky in the Droid x cm7 forum. Interested in checking out some other roms, but not looking forward to reconfiguring over and over (do backups help with that?).

You can use Titanium backup to reinstall apps. Unfortunately, it still takes me about 20 minutes to get everything set up the way I like it.
