droidforums barely crawling

Recently, droidforums has been going insanely slow. Mostly, the forum is getting hung up either "waiting for origin.collective-media.net" or it is "connected to origin.collective-media.net" but in both cases, the forums do not load within the ten minutes I give them. When I hit refresh, there is about a 1 in 3 chance that the page will load (though, it will still get hung up on those issues for ~15 seconds before it loads). All other websites are responding normally, except for this one. It took me 20 minutes of refreshing until the page worked just to navigate to this subforum and post this message. Is there some insane amount of work being done to the site, or is this a byproduct of the forum facelift we recently had, or something else entirely?

Yeah, the ad servers are the issue. Probably network congestion due to the quake. Admins may want to consider taking the revenue hit by removing the ads for a while until this blows over.
