And it started recently? Have you tried rebooting your phone?

Yes both with soft reboot and battery removal.

Texting issues with Droid2

How about trying to download a keyboard off the market and trying that?

I would rather get at the root of the problem rather than overwrite a symptom. I have read in other forums that those with Droid2s have started having issues after having the Gingerbread (2.3.3) push last Fall. There is no way to clear the cache for the multifunction keyboard in applications because this button is not highlighted. I am looking for others who have had the same problem and if Google will be providing a fix? Thanks for your help.

I meant more specifically to see if it would work. I hadn't heard that it was something that happens to Droid 2's with gingerbread so I am not sure what a fix would be then, sorry.
