Can't connect my droid x2 to pc so I joined the forum.

Have you installed the Motorola drivers?

Or, it may be simpler than that. You may not be using a usb cable that is compatible with your computer and phone... I had that problem with my DROID x and then found the Motorola usb and it worked just fine

Thanks, that was it. I thought if the usb plug fit, it was the correct cable. I've got much to learn.
