Hello!

I recently migrated from a BlackBerry Storm 2 to a Verizon Droid X (this week). First, I love the phone, it is miles ahead of my old BB.

My question1:
I cant seem to find a way to set the phone to vibrate. The only options I seem to have are "sound on" or "silence". I would like to be able to set the phone (email, msg, etc.) to vibrate with one click while at work and reinitate the sound when I leave work.

I have tried holding down the lock button, but vibrate is not there.

This was easy to do with the BB.

My question2:
How do I set-up diffrent notification sounds for diffrent messaging features?

For example; Email = Bird FB = Sonar Voicemail = Roar...

Any suggetions?

Many thanks in advance!

For question #1, do the following:
"Settings"--->"Sounds & Display"---> "Vibrate" <--- Make sure this item is Green Checked in order for it to work.

For #2, do the following:
Tap "Messaging" , when it opens, click the Menu button on the bottom outside left of the phone. When the menu opens, there you can set a ringtone of your choice for each of the messaging clients you choose to use.

I hope this helps...:)

Thank you!

I also figured out that if you push the volume key (side of phone) all the way down, it will set the phone to viberate as well.

Thanks again!

:)
