Droid X stock alarm duration

Hi,

I have been searching the all over the net to see if I can find an answer to this nagging question... I have a daily alarm set on my Droid X (using stock alarm app). If I forget my phone at home, the alarm will go off in the morning and continue ringing all day untill the battery drains. Once I get home, I have to recharge the phone before I can use it. Is there any way to limit the duration of an alarm? Let's say stop going off after 30 minutes of ringing? Is there any alarm app that can do this?

I'm pretty sure that my stock Droid 3 alarm clock automatically shuts off after 30 minutes. I'm kinda surprised that the X alarm is different. Are you sure that it doesn't shut off--even after the update?

I didn't upgrade to latest version yet but I didn't see anything mentioned in release notes about the alarm. I have Droid 2.2.1
