Aaww, it comes with Need for Speed Shift....I didnt like the demo I played on the 360..

But I'll take if u give it to me...lol 2 things that will have me sell my Droid to recoup the funds for buying this if I keep it:

up to 480 min.
USAGE TIME (CONTINUOUS)2
BATTERY TYPE
1540 mAh Li Ion
STANDBY TIME3
up to 220 hrs.

and

Supposedly reception equal or better than the E815 cuz of Diversity Antennas.

I think the E815 and the Star Tac, which I never used, probably has the best reception of any dumb phone created.

I'm a little disappointed that it is the OMAP 3630 processor (720ghz) pushed to 1ghz rather than the 3640 running at stock 1ghz.

I wonder how much (if any) more overclocking capabilities the chip has?

So when the spec sheet says "predictive text," is that referring to T9 (virtual upright keypad maybe?) or to Swype?

Predictive text as in it tries to predict the word you are typing with both the multitouch keyboard and the swype keyboard. Standard with Android phones.

Thanks, but I apologize for my ignorance because I'm not 100% sure what this means... I've seen on the HTC Incredible that a texting option is using a standard keypad with prediction (Word or T9 on other phones). I have too fat of thumbs to enjoy using a QWERTY keyboard so just curious if my preference of texting will be available on the DX. Cheers!

The bigger screen should allow you to hit the right keys. Even in portrait mode. I don't have small fingers or thumbs by any means and I can type just fine on the Droids 3.7" screen. Will be even better on the X's 4.3".

Multitouch keyboard allows you to hold the caps and type a letter at the same time instead of hitting the cap lock and then typing.

Swype is an app that basically allows you to slide your finger along the keyboard to spell out words. Sounds quirky but it is really easy to use.

This does appear to be the case. Unlike the Incredible, which would create 3 USB drives when connected to a computer, one for 8 gig of internal storage and one for the SD card, the DX only creates one. 6.5 gig is an awful lot of space for app storage. I don't think I'll ever come close to filling that, but I was hoping to move some of my music to internal storage and use the space on the SD card for movies and for video capture.

Now I either need to have less of my music with me, or get a 32 gig card.
