Droid X screen shot

Does anyone have a screen shot of the Droid X keyboard editing a Word doc?

I'm thinking about buying the X but I want to see how much of the screen is taken up by the keyboard in Word.

You do know that you have to purchase a separate APP for editing Word Doc's don't you?

I am not rooted, so I can't get you a screenshot, but I can tell you what it looks like on an X with Doc's to Go.

Yes I know that. I have documents to go. I just want to see how much of the screen is taken up by the keyboard.
On the D2 when the keyboard is out the whole screen shows the doc, with the virtual keyboard I can only see about a quarter of the screen. Since the X is bigger I'd like to see how much of the doc I'll see,

Which rotation are you wanting? I can tell you that in EDIT mode on landscape, it uses the virtual box above the keyboard for your input.

In portrait mode it is about 1/4 of the screen for the keyboard.

With SWYPE built in, the portrait keyboard is really pretty easy to use.

Typing in landscape is easier for me especially if I have a lot to type.
How much of the document will be covered while editing in landscape?

So that's about half the screen right?
That's about what I was expecting.

It's better than this.

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

I bought it.
It leaves with the same amount of space as the D2, its just that the keyboard is bigger on the X.

You can't scroll the doc in landscape mode when the keyboard is up either, that sucks.

Now I have to decide if the rest of the device is worth losing the ability to edit docs the way I'm use to doing.
