droid x question

My granddaughter is on Metro pcs - I am on verizon just got the droid razr hd and want to give her my droid x - I reset the phone back to when it was new and it is now unactivated. If she takes it to a metro pc store can they activate it on Metro pcs for use use on their network.

I have seen some DXs "flashed" to other carriers but I do not have any specifics for you. All I can offer is to ask Metro or do some serious web searching for an answer.

should be able to take to store and flash
but t-mobile bought them and is going to phase out cdma by 2015
