Droid X problems

I have had more than one problem with this phone so far I havent taken it back to verizon yet though. These are the problems I have had with it so far not sure if its a phone issue or if its user error or what.
1. I was downloading aps and I downloaded a fingerprint scanning app worked good until I restarted the phone then it locked it up so I hard reset it that fixed it.
2. All of a sudden my signal was bouncing from 1x to airplane mode when I went to open up my dialer to put in a number it closed it automoatically same with text messages magically it fixed itself on my way over to local gamestop.
3. Started to do the same exact thing with the signal and nothing would fix it I shut it off took out the battery for a couple min nothing once again had to hard reset the phone after that it worked great and has been working great I am not sure whats going on with this but I think its going to happen again.
4. I am having problems with the DLNA it will play 1 or 2 songs threw my xbox perfectly fine then just stop only way to fix would be to skip to the next song or rewind to the start of the song.
5. I got the video format thing set I think for the videos to play on the droid I go to play it on my phone and it works for a little bit then stops other movie only will work after first 1min is skipped and after that sounds all crappy. It connects to the tv fine and starts to play fine when it locks up and I unplug the hdmi cord. Once that is done and I exit out it becomes extremly laggy I have a cpu stats app and I opended it my cpu and memory was maxxed to 100 on each my phone was running extremly laggy until restart. It is still running slow anyone know of a good free video converter I can try and use other than Super C that doesnt mark the movies right in the middle.
Other than those problems it works great I love it just a few quirks that need working out I am sure most of it is user error or something stuipd I am doing. I am rather new to the hole smartphone thing last phone I had was the LG voyager lol.... Also all of a sudden the other day all my videos and tv shows were erased. I got Burn notice to work great though I am going to check into the format of that video though.

Sorry for the long winded story there just kinda frustrating to pay all that money and it not work right. My name is Jason I am into DSM's basically anything with a 4g63 in it DSM= Eagle Talon Plymouth laser and Mitsubishi Eclipse. Anything else you want to know let me know and I will answer help is greatly appricated.

HI:

Just a thought on the converting video to Droid X capability. I don't know if you are converting from DVD's, Blue Ray DVD's or what but I found a "set" of programs ($19.95) that once understood, works WONDERFULLY. Their tech support is awesome too. They have one online how-to-video that helps but it's their overall tech-savy developers who have written a short summary (for each program individually) on how to get all these programs to works "together!" That's the key, they all work together to help you master whatever it is you are wanting to do, video manulipitation wise. The site is www.free2dvd.com.

There are several free programs that come with this software and once upon a time I owned a Blackberry Storm 2 (still do ;-( ) and needed help converting some video to the size of the screen of the Storm2. I contacted their tech support and in just a few minutes they were back to me with the exact paramaters on how to compress to BB size. Funny thing though, the size works on my Droid X as well. Just be sure to visit www.free2dvd.com and pay the $19.95. It's honestly the best money I have spent in a long time.

Ok I am interested in maybe overclocking my processor a little bit and maximizing performance out of my droid I want to make it faster and capable of handling a little more of a load as well as turning off news widgets and all that crap.

OCing your Droid X is not going to help matters in your situation. I would look to turn off other tasks that you do not need running.
