Droid X - picture download

I downloaded a picture from a website and I would like the picture to populate in the Gallery, however it will not show up. I moved the file into the DCIM folder and sub folder camera and it will not show up in the gallery. I can click on the file using astro and it will open and I can see the pic, but I cannot get it synced into the Gallery. Any ideas on this? It is a basic jpeg file

Wow, I have just the opposite happen. It seems as though every picture, icon, or ad I have ever downloaded or even looked at seems to find its way into my gallery. Are you really sure it is a normal jpg file?

Reboot your phone...when your phone restarts it will prepare the sd card.
