Droid x not reading sd card

An orange triangle was in my noto bar when i pulled it down it said the sd card blank or has unsupported file system. I rebooted no help when in sd settings my only options are mount and format...this is the 16g card that came with the phone i had over 900 pics and 600plus songs and all my apps that were able to go sd...any ideas why this would happen out of the blue?...i would appreciate all advice...thanks
