Droid X mutlitouch keyboard issues

Every once in awhile (and more frequently lately) my keyboard freezes up. I exit my texting app, browser, twitter, facebook, or email but the keyboard remains frozen on my screen. I'm using Gingerbread OS. Any suggestions?

This seemed to work for me...

Go to settings, applications, manage applications, "ALL" in the tabs on top, go to multitouch keyboard, then clear data....good luck!

Droid X2 Keyboard issue

Thank you, thank you for this! I was going nuts here as well. Every time I typed on my keyboard I would have to turn my phone off and on b/c my keyboard would freeze. I've only had my phone two months.
