Droid X Mail Client No Longer Working .Me account

My Droid X mail client has stopped connecting with the .me mail service from Apple. My desktop client using IMAP isn't having any problems but for two days I haven't been able to get my personal mail down on the phone.

I deleted the account and attempted to recreate but the account creation hangs.

Questions:
1) Anyone else seeing this behavior?

2) Any suggestions on how to resolve?

I could never get mine to work with my work email so I use K9 email client now it works great.
