Droid X, Hdmi and sling box?

Does anyone know if the droid x can play video out of the hdmi output with slingmedia player... I've heard that the blockbuster app won't display video and I'm guessing the slingbox app will work the same way. Is this something 2.2 will fix or am I stuck just being able to play video off the sd card?

Tested it, Slingplayer app will not output through the HDMI port.

nice.. but does it do slingbox in 720p?

So It works.. that's cool but does it do 720p with sling box, or does it do that funky droid res. 1080p has raised the bar and it's painful to watch standard deff now. Until 4g comes out 1080i is to big but 720p should work if you have a decent wifi connection.
