I have the Droid X with the spn5612a docking station from Motorola. The the battery charge indicator seems to indicate that charging is stopped when the battery is at 100%. This is good to keep from overcharging the battery and shortening its life.
Can anyone confirm that that dock does stop charging so it's safe to keep the phone in the dock?
(Please don't try to convice me that overcharging is not a problem unless you have some solid research to back it up. Thx)
