Droid X Android 2.3.3 upgrade sucks

My Droid X recently upgraded to 2.3.3 and I must say I hate it. It's slow... some of my apps don't work right anymore
and the fancy transitions from screen to screen just slow it down.

Is there some way to go back to the previous version? It was working just fine.

Linux solution to your Windows/RSD lite problems


Basically, you download one of the .iso files from this page and burn it to disc, then reboot your PC off of the disc while your phone is plugged in to a USB port. Follow the onscreen instructions, and your phone will be back to whichever version you downloaded.

I have the same problems and called Verizon to see if I could go back. I was told if you did you void any warranty! Why did they have to F' up a good working system????

That's why you don't tell them. Seeing how you are going to lose everything by going the sbf route, try a factory reset first.

Call, complain, and sbf back to an earlier version.
