Droid X (2.2) move shortcuts between screens?

Just got my DX last Saturday, and am wondering why I can't move shortcuts/widgets between homescreens. I press/hold, and can move them on the same screen, but when I try to go left or right to another screen, they just bounce back. Only way to do it seems to be to trash the shortcut on the old screen & recreate it on the new one. DX 2.2.

Try moving it to the side and waiting a second or two. Sometimes mine gets a little touchy and I have to drag it to the lower corner of which ever side I want it to go to.

Thanks, that worked - sometimes it took a few tries, though.
