Droid + Skype + Fring

Will I be able to call USA from Germany or Czech Republic using Skype? I also downloaded Fring because the threads I've read say you need WiFi to cneable the call. So was Fring necessary?

I also would like to know how to get this working. I tried Fring, but couldn't get my Skype contacts to show up in Fring. I must be doing something wrong.:sad:

I am going to Israel and would like to use Fring over the data to connect to skype. Does anyone know if it will work? Would skype charge me any fees?
