I am new 2 this and it may have already been ask but sorry i missed it if so. Wondering is there a way on the Droid to set a signature for text messages? And can u set the time and date where it will show on the main screen of the phone? Thanks for any help u can give. :icon_ banana:

Not with the stock messaging app, if you download Handcent you can add a signature and time stamps in the Settings menu

if you install this make sure you go into the > Settings in the stock messaging app (green icon) and DISABLE Notifications. Otherwise you will get double alerts... if you have any questions you can try a search for 'double notifications' and you should find more details if you need them
