droid rebooted while in use

This hasn't happened before. I was just checking out the Market, didn't download anything, was just going to check out the Dolphin browser comments when my screen blanked. The phone rebooted itself!

I was using the vertical touch screen the same way I usually do. (Wasn't touching the power button at all.) Maybe the battery is loose?

This has me quite concerned. No new apps, installed flexilis and goggles over the weekend but the reboot just happened now.

Thoughts?

Shouldn't be an issue. These things can happen BUT keep an eye on it..

If it does it again within a week you may have a problem caused by an app. I wouldn't download anymore apps for the time being. If it recurs it MAY be caused by flexilis.

If it reboots again uninstall flexilis and run the device for another week. If that resolves it then you know whats causing it.

You may try factory reset to see if the problem is from your apps. (Factory reset will remove everything you put on there, be careful).

Thats what mine did. Started out with random re-boots then morphed into non-stop rebooting.
Take my advice and back up anything important just in case. I had just sat down and started backing up when the non-stop rebooting started. I was able to backup everything except for about 30 note files which is killing me.

I am now only downloading important apps that provide backup options.
