Droid R2D2

My friend has just ordered a droid r2d2 and I was just wondering if it is almost exactly the same as the droid 2. Would you be able to use droid 2 roms or is there special droid r2d2 roms?

I flashed Liberty 1.5 on my R2D2 Droid 2 twice with no problems. I'm not sure about other roms. The only problem is if you need to SBF you'll have to SBF to 2.3.2 cause there isn't a 2.4.5 SBF.
