This morning, my dad went to the verizon store and got the new droid x. He gave me his first gen droid seeing as he had no use for it. i was excited till i discovered a problem. He hadnt used it in a month because he was using his work phone, so i went to power it on..and nothing. Tried taking the battery out, and charging it. Screens still black. If its any concellation, when i put the charger half way in the port the white light goes on but when i put the charger alll the way in, it goes back off. Not sure what the problem is, but any suggestions you have would be great! thanks.
