Droid not letting me call..PLEASE HELP!

when i go to hit dial at the bottom of the screen, it doesnt open, and a little icon just pops up saying "phone"! I have an android incredible 2 verizon, please help! I cant make outgoing calls if i cant dial!D:

I would try the following in the order listed (and of course stop with the one that fixes your issue!!):

1. Reboot phone
2. Manage applications/all/dialer/clear data and or force stop
3. Factory Reset
4. Install Dialer One from the market
