Droid is sending texts on its own... help

Anytime my phone dies, or I turn the power completely off and back on I'll see that it has sent a text message to the last contact that I had sent a text to on its own. It seems to just random take a text I had sent and resends it.

Does anyone know the cause of this or how to fix it?

That could get UUUUUUUUUgly quick with the wrong text to the wrong person. Exorcism could be in order

Darn. Fortunately it doesn't take texts from other conversations and sends it to people. It still confuses people why I am saying something I already said from like two days ago. lol

are you using a ebay type battery or charger? they have been known to cause this type of behavior

my phone does the same thing, its annoying when i get a text back after i reboot my phone from a friend saying "what?". it scares me. i hope it doesnt send stuff to the wrong people sometime. Its happened a couple times and its very annoying
