Droid is getting pretty warm in the docking station...

Which docking station are you using? The one from Motorola or from seidioonline.com? The reason why I am asking is that I am planning on buy one from seidio.

No.

I have both docks and none of them get real warm. The only time i notice it getting warm is when i use GPS for an extended period of time.

are you using the wall charger or are you connected to the PC? if you're performing lots of battery-draining tasks while it's connected to a low power input like a USB port, the phone will tend to get warm.

double check that all of your connections are secure, too.

I would also remove it from the dock and plug it in directly with the Motorola OEM charger and see if you get the same results.
