Why is my Droid not syncing with gmail? phone IS set to syn.

menu > settings > manage apps > all apps > gmail > clear data

The only time my gmail stopped synching is when I changed the password to my gmail account, and forgot to change it on the phone. Other than that, I've had no problems with it synching up.

What does "clear data" do? it doesn't erase my emails does it?

No, you mail is always on your PC as well. This just clears your phone data not you gmail acct.
