Droid Forums app

I can't find the forum app in the Play Store anymore when I type Droid Forums in the search. DroidForum shows up, but appears to be a different site.

Is the app still being made or am I forced to rely on Tapatalk?

The app was removed a long time ago and Tapatalk is the only option now. Well, I guess you could also log in using your phone browser and select Request Desktop Site. But the newer updates to the Tapatalk app make it pretty user friendly for forum use.

Tapatalk used to be user friendly, but these days, if I don't use it for a while, I get logged out of the app and all my settings are undone.

Yeah. I wish I would have kept the older version. The app has taken a huge dive in quality since January.

This is an OLD version, but the one I like best. It is version 4.8.3.

Did you try apk mirror? It's got some older versions, including going back to 4.9.5. Not sure if that's far enough back, but the good news about apk mirror is that they verify the versions to make sure that someone's not trying to get you to download and install a tweaked version of an app that they may have added some nefarious code to.
