Droid Forum update can pull pics from your camera and gallery?

Saw the update to Droid Forums changed permissions to allow it to pull pics from your camera and gallery. What's up with this?

I would imagine it means you have the option to include attachments from your camera or picture gallery when you reply to a post, only used when you also give it permission to.
