Droid Factory Folders

I'm not sure why I am bothered by it but I hate having folders that I never open. Can I delete the folders with the following names?

1. "backups" --> "apps" --> empty
2. "espeak-data" --> many sub folders that I've never opened
3. "LOST.DIR" --> "79"
4. "Saved Pictures" --> empty

Also, does anyone know if I can save pictures taken on my phone in a folder that I've creates as opposed to "DCIM" --> "Camera"?

I'm not sure why you're bothered by it, either. However, you'll find if you delete folders (assuming you can) that are needed when the o/s encounters trouble (e.g. LOST.DIR), you'll prevent it from correcting the problem.
