Droid dock question

This may seem like a silly question but noone else i know has a droid.

I have the dock that my Droid sits in at night and maybe I'm crazy but the battery seems to charge incredibly fast when it's docked.

Is the dock like a high speed charger or something and I just dont know it?

Zoomy, I'm not sure but I notice that my OG Droid charges faster when its in the multi-media dock compared to the car charger and the plain wall charger. So maybe, your right and it's a rapid charger.:reddroid:

Never noticed a faster charge but since its through the wall charger it is pretty darn fast already

The dock charges as fast as whatever you connect it to. The dock itself has no effect on charging. Check the mA rating on the charger next time.

If you connect the dock to a USB port it will charge slowly as USB is only 500mA. Rule of thumb: the higher the mA the faster the charge.

Speaking of charging. Not only does it charge fast but I will have 40% left, open the camera for a pic and drop to 15%. That seems odd to me. I don't use any special apps or anything. I just text and call with my Droid mostly.
