droid and handcent

hi
so i had a eris until recently, and using handcent threads went up and over like 2000 stored messages. but now on my droid it auto deletes them after 200. is there any way to change that?

What you would have to do is go into the stock messaging app, not Handcent, then go into the settings, and uncheck the option for "delete old messages." That should solve your problem right away and will effect the change for Handcent as well.

Why would you want that many messages stored on your phone?

Not too sure really. I have mine set to delete any over 200. But to each their own.
