The cam on my Droid 3 has always been crap. Focuses when it wants, takes a long time to take the pic after the button has been pressed if it takes the pic at all, sometimes just crashes instead of taking the pic, sometimes crashes after taking the pic but not saving it. Other cam apps have trouble too. One can't take a second pic because the screen goes black. An HDR app, that is supposed to take three shots in succession with different exposures, may or may not make it through to the second exposure.
Am I alone in these troubles or is there some kind of fix I can try?
