Droid 2?

Does anybody know anything about the Droid 2? I heard it was coming out this month but not sure. If anyone knows anything at all about the Droid 2 on what it looks like or anything please let me know. I have heard that the Droid 1 was being discontinued so wanted to know. Thanks.

Search the forum, there are multiple threads on the D2 which include specs, pictures, and a release date. The majority of the information can be found on the home page of DF, in the news section

That would be the most recent information we've got from Verizon, other than the full page ad (DROID 2 Full Page Ad Debuts, Still No Official Date | Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog) that they've put out. No official release date as of yet, only rumors of Aug 12.
