Droid 2 Wifi Won't Connect

Starting yesterday, I have been unable to connect to my home wifi on my Droid 2. My mother's Droid X also will not connect. Wifi turns on, but it keeps trying to find the IP address of our network. The laptop connects just fine, but the phones won't connect

Could it be that the wifi network is running Wireless N 5GHz? It could be another frequency though that the phones dont support. Not sure what frequencies the D2 supports but I imagine the DX should just about cover any frequency except Wireless N 5 GHz. Wireless N 2.4 GHz will work. Could also be the router, if it was set up professionally may only accept certain mac address and the mac addy of the phones need to be added.

I've been able to connect to the network for months now. It was just yesterday it stopped working

Same for me.
Connects OPK for a while, then disconnects
and won't re-connect. Works fine with Starbucks wi-fi.
No solution yet.
