I'm trying to help a buddy out with a problem, his Droid 2 sometimes takes anywhere from 15minutes to 3 hours to receive a text message.
I've sent him and his sister (also a droid 2) a text while they're sitting next to each other, and she gets it right away, he got it 15 minutes later.
They have basically the same apps installed, I removed ATK that verizon put on the phones at the store, thinking it may be killing the messaging service for some reason but it didn't help either.
I found another post regarding this over on Android Central, but I thought I'd ask here as well.
If he makes a call, he gets all his texts, and for about an hour it works fine, then it starts delaying texts again.
