Droid 2 global not receiving texts.

I will be texting someone and I will stop getting texts. I power cycle it then I get all of them at once. Its not the service cause other Verizon people around me can receive them. Anyone else have this problem? Solutions?

Do a factory data reset or reflash to the full stock rom, or sbf.

I also have this problem. This is very frustrating...I will be texting a friend and then not get a response so after an hour with no response I turn off phone for 5 minutes then turn back on and all the texts they had sent me will show up... I use the stock messaging app....I've tried handcent and gosms and I've found that the problem gets worse.....anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Try calling *228 and updating roaming. Not sure if it will help but its worth a try....

same thing happens with me. kind of mad that i switched to the droid 2 global from my OG droid now. Power cycle seems to work.... but cmon thats a pain especially when you just dropped 300 on a phone
