Droid 2 email notifications

Guys - thanks in advance for your help on this.

I have a Droid 2. A month ago I screwed up and downloaded a "battery saver". It removed my email notification. I used to get a sound and notification on the phone when I got gmail. Now, I have to check it myself. How do I get this back???

Open your gmail app then tap menu, settings, notifications. Turn on the sound there.
