Droid 2 Battery Issues

Greetings all,

I can only use my Droid 2 with the original battery for about 4 hours. Granted I'm doing a lot with it, but that is hardly a half a day on a charge. (And I'm not going to use the "task killers" that I've been warned about using.)

So I purchased an extended batter (2800mha) and I get just about the exact same battery life as with the original battery.

Can anyone tell me if there is a battery that truly extends the life of the phone on a single charge?

Thank you.

Just a quick update on this: I found out from the manufacturer of the battery that you can just keep using the phone even when the battery level shows 5%. So I tried that, and it kept right on going for another 4 hours (and is still going even now). So I got at least 8 hours out of the extended battery (2800mha), but the last 4 hours the meter showed 5%. You just have to disregard the battery meter.

Just wanted to let you know.
