Hello all,
I would like to buy the Droid 2 but I need to know which accelerometer is embedded on it.
To know which accelerometer is embedded on it is enough to install an application that reads the sensor name: possible free applications are SensorList or SensorDump.
There are some info in teardown sites, but they only suppose which kind of accelerometer is inside the Droid 2: by reading sensor name with a specific application is the best solution to have that 100% information.

Hoping someone would help me,
thanks in advance.

Sensor Test by AtmoWorker is telling me it's an LIS331DLH 3 axis accelerometer.

Because the Lis331 accelerometer embedded in Droid 2 is the best one accelerometer you can find in the todays smartphones.
I'm trying to develop application using accelerometer values and I need the best values possible.
This kind of accelerometer is used in Motorola and Apple only ... and I prefer Android to Apple product's :)
