Droid 1 replacement from Asurion

My Droid 1 stopped working.

If I file a claim what phone will they send me. A new D1 or something else?

It won't be a new D1....You really won't know till you talk to them.

i'm sure you'll get a refurbished droid 1. it's usually like new though, i would have never known the used droid 2 replacement i got wasn't knew.

It'll be a refurb D1, but in contrast of above, I've had rather poor results with the refurbs I've received.

I just got a "certified like new" d1 from verizon, it was a warranty replacement free of charge. It looks brand new and I'm happy with it. Only thing I've found is the screen wiggles a bit. Meaning the slide out part. No big deal to me though. All in all I think refurbs are fine.

I just got a replacement D1 from asurion as well. Mine was brand new but didn't have sd card. I had to call back but they offered to send car charger as well as sd to make up for it

So are most people getting Droid 1 refurbs as D1 replacements?

After much research I can only find news articles online saying Droid 2/X replacements, but it seems to be the same article copied by all Android News sites.
