I have the D1 but the firmware is 2.0 and i want 2.2 or 2.3 phone isnt rooted and no custom rom can somebody send me a tutorial or something?

You need to download RSDlite onto your computer, its a program that will install or flash the OS/firmware u want. You also need to get the software file which is referred to as the sbf file. All the instructions can be found on this site. Its really easy

ok i will download rsd lite and as far as the Root no matter OS that list is super long and i really dont understand most of that stuff
